Fun delicious and lots of great little spots to choose from. Stop looking for the spot and try someone out that doesn't have a wait. You wont be disappointed. Honestly tell me that 1 is better than the other? All offer great and unique dishes and vary their ramen. Just go try a few out!
View on GoogleIf you’re visiting Sapporo for the first time, Ganso Ramen Yokocho is almost a must-visit spot. It’s less about finding the absolute “best” ramen in Japan and more about enjoying the full Sapporo ramen culture and atmosphere. 🍜❄️
View on GoogleLots of great little ramen places. But not a great experience on a rainy evening. Queuing in a dripping wet narrow alley, with careless tour groups passing through with umbrellas, is not my idea of fun. However, if you've never experienced an Asian alley before, you will probably like it. Needs a bit of modernisation i.e. a simple roof over the alley. Other excellent ramen restaurants nearby without the hassle.
View on GoogleOne of my best ramen exploring experiences. This place has lots of different ramen restaurants within a small alley. Do not let the size of the restaurant make you walk away; each restaurant has its own vibe, and the cooks are very kind to visitors. I loved the buttery flavour of the miso ramen prepared at this place, plus the soft corn they typically put in the ramen. Try the clam miso ramen, delicious.
View on GoogleA tiny, very narrow alley packed with one ramen shop after another—and that is exactly its charm. During the day there is not much reason to visit, but toward evening the restaurants begin to open and the alley becomes wonderfully atmospheric. Some of the restaurants are extremely small, seating only about 10–15 people, often right beside the cooks. The atmosphere in the alley is very pleasant. Some places have long queues, but everything remains quiet and patient, as is so often the case in Japan. We saw no reason to wait in a long line, chose a restaurant that had space, and enjoyed it very much. The ramen bowl was enormous, very tasty and fresh, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the prices were fair. We left full and very happy with the whole experience. The alley is very close to Susukino Crossing, a busy area full of clubs, young people, lights, and nightlife. The contrast between this quiet, traditional little ramen alley and the bright, energetic intersection just nearby is especially charming.
