Not much flavor. Just moyashi and a small piece of chashu. It's probably something older people might like....

A 5-minute walk from Sapporo Municipal Subway's Maruyama Station. A neighborhood Chinese restaurant loved by locals. The ramen and chahan set is just 900円! Unbelievably cheap in the Reiwa era of rising prices. The ramen has a light Tokyo-style flavor, with simple toppings of green onion, chahan, and menma. The chahan is the moist kind. The older man's skillful movements, tossing the wok and catching the contents with his ladle, had me mesmerized. Both the ramen and chahan have simple, crowd-pleasing flavors, so I can confidently recommend them!

Feeling dizzy with hunger, I made my first visit to 福留, which suddenly appeared before me. The ramen and chahan set was a good deal, so I ordered it. The husband and wife divided up the cooking duties, their movements suggesting years of experience. The bowl arrived in about 10 minutes. I first sipped the shoyu ramen broth, which had a mysterious flavor. The noodles were ordinary, and the chashu had an even more mysterious seasoning. The chahan was old-fashioned and nostalgic, and somehow managed to satisfy my hunger. Overall, it's inexpensive, so I'd love adventurous eaters to try everything and hear what they think.

I've had the miso ramen here a few times, but since the restaurant promotes its tanmen, I tried it for the first time. They had a ramen and mini chahan set, so I asked them to make it with tanmen. The tanmen had lots of vegetables, mainly napa cabbage, and the vegetables added flavor to the broth, making it really delicious. The mini chahan also had separate grains of rice that were springy when chewed, just the kind of chahan I like.
