Is a old ramen shop, although may look outdated. But their ramen prepared by it own chef that been in business for years .One word, better than the Ramen Village.Less que, good broth, portion big and reasonable priced. The older chef (owner),can only speak Japanese, but there's another younger chef can speak and understand some english ..

View on GoogleDuring a trip to Hokkaido last June, I was looking for a ramen shop to soothe my hungry stomach in the evening and stopped in, drawn by an atmosphere I couldn't quite explain. As someone who gets hot easily, I found the heat overwhelming as soon as I opened the door and entered, but the commanding presence of the old shop's owner made me take a seat. After sitting down, I ordered a beer first and was choosing ramen when I mentioned I was Korean, and they gave me a Korean menu. (No draft beer, only bottled beer) I chose soy sauce ramen with extra chashu The others chose miso ramen Added gyoza too The ramen arrived, and one bite revealed tremendous mastery. Any food in the world will be judged differently according to the eater's tastes, but I was satisfied Perhaps because I'd visited Fukuoka the week before, I was reminded that food in different regions of Japan has its own characteristics too. Just as Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do have different food styles in Korea, Japan's Kanto (關東, Kanto) and Kansai (關西, Kansai) also differ greatly in culture, food, and more. Ramen showed many differences too, such as broth richness, seasoning strength, and noodle thickness. Personally, rather than saying 'one region's ramen is delicious,' I'd like to say that this menu works well in this region's style, and that menu in that region's style. Anyway, after tasting the mastery behind the ramen and enjoying being full, I looked up and saw an X-JAPAN autograph!!! An autograph from a band that greatly influenced my feelings when I was young The date was April 96, and the member who signed was HIDE (Hide, Matsumoto Hideto, 松本秀人) Seeing his name written in lowercase, it seems he came to Sapporo for solo activities. X-JAPAN disbanded in 97 and Hide passed away in 98, and thinking that this was already a story from 30 years ago left a heaviness in my chest. Tasting good food and seeing a trace of a musician I loved, it was a moment when old feelings moved my heart. #北海道 #Sapporo #ramen #oldshopgoodfood
