The restaurant was easy to find as previous review indicated the it is on the 3rd floor. Also the English menu was very helpful. I had a great experience at Ezo Kamuy. The draw card was deer meat on offer which I had together with pork belly. The deer must have been farmed as it didn't have the strong taste but was good and pork was amazing. Assorted vegetables, which was a dish of finely chopped cabbage, onions and greens comes with each meat dish ordered hence for 2 choices of meat, I received an enormous bowl of vegies. I didn't think I'd eat all of it, but craving for greens, I demolished it all. It was altogether a very satisfying dinner for me.

This place is a hidden gem, we were randomly looking for a shabu shabu place and found one with Hokkaido specialty meats: Ezo venison (deer), lamb, and gorgeous herb-fed beef belly! We loved it so much we polished off five portions of meat between the 3 of us 😂 Highly recommended if you're looking for something local and high-quality. They use chicken bone broth and provides 4 dipping sauces. Their special sauce really suits all the meats and veggies! I especially liked the kelp vinegar sauce, very kelpy and refreshing. The other two sauces are sesame and ponzu. It's also my first time having shredded vegetables in a shabu shabu but it worked surprisingly well. In addition, lovely and friendly service from Ryo! I will try to come back!

Shop is located at a small little alley, between shops. You got to take the lift to level 3! It’s a small shop with 10 seats. There are English menu for you to browse. Meat is great though portion is small. Overall, great place with great comforting food after a cold day. We ordered the pork belly, deer and lamb. We were served by Ryo, communicated with limited English but his service was great! :-)

We last min google a shabu shabu place, and it leads us to this place. It’s a mini place of 10 pax but it was super simple, yet most fulfilling meal ever. I had the beef belly while my husband had the pork belly. It was great, and the vegetable was so nice too! You need to order the plum wine, it’s good if you like something not too strong! (: Highly recommend!

The staff, Yuta and Mao, are incredibly welcoming and provide excellent service. Even though we had a bit of a language barrier, they still made the effort to use a translator to communicate with us, which made us feel very comfortable — almost like friends already. Highly recommend visiting this place! The deer meat is unique and definitely worth trying.
