Hiroshima okonomiyaki. I added extra vegetables, so it was quite light. I felt it lacked punch. The okonomiyaki also seemed watery… Maybe it has a lot of vegetables. The tororo salad was generous, but there was quite a wait, so I wish they'd served the salad first. Hmm. Thank you for the meal.

In today's world, they're doing well as an independent restaurant ◉⁠‿⁠◉ I enjoyed the delicious Osaka style. For the Hiroshima style, if they pressed it more from above so the noodles and batter had a firmer texture rather than fluffiness, it would suit my taste better. The flavor made me want to go again. I enjoyed it.

It's an okonomiyaki restaurant in Nishimachi. Apparently photography inside isn't allowed, so I took photos of the menu and food. I ordered butatama okonomiyaki topped with green onions for ¥1100. The okonomiyaki is thick, so it takes a little time. The meat was well cooked, the sort of thing lovers of crispy bacon would find irresistible. The portion was about 1.25 servings too. Everything was delicious, and I'll definitely be back. The owner seemed quiet and worked through the orders silently, but he felt like a true craftsman, and his capable, neat work was reassuring. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable!

2025/12/12 19:15 I had cheese modanyaki and soroban (chicken neck). First, the texture was crispy, crunchy and fluffy, very good. However, the sauce was a little too strong, so the cheese's mellowness and finish, along with the ingredients' flavors, didn't shine through, which was a little disappointing. I thought it would be even better if customers could adjust the sauce and mayonnaise to their own taste. The soroban was unusual, but it was nicely spiced and very good. The texture of the crunchy, chewy sections and the meaty sections was very appetizing too. Eating it with vegetables dipped in mayonnaise gives it a very rich flavor and is delicious.
