"Densetsu no Sutadonya" offers a wide range of menu items that embody the founder's wish: "I want people to eat delicious food until they're full and keep going strong." The signature "Sutadon" is a bowl packed with stamina and volume, made by stir-frying pork belly in a secret garlic soy sauce passed down since the founding and serving it over a large helping of rice. Besides sutadon, we offer a variety of dishes, including a garlic-free ginger pork bowl, karaage, as well as set meals, curry, ramen, and abura soba. You can enjoy it on all kinds of occasions, for lunch, dinner, or a late-night meal, and it's also welcoming to women, customers with children, and families. "Densetsu n…

Food: i have to say, all the food are very salty and oily. It super unhealthy at all. Please avoid if you dont like super salty. Service: ok, food comes very quick. Atmosphere: a bit hot inside.

After hours of searching for a place to eat in Sapporo without any luck, I found myself still craving a fulfilling meal despite having already eaten a hearty bowl of ramen. Determined to satisfy my lingering hunger, I stumbled upon a rice bowl restaurant conveniently located below my hotel. I ordered two rice bowls, one topped with a generous amount of green onions and another with a creamy yam paste. Expecting the rice bowls to feature beef, I was surprised to discover that this particular restaurant served pork instead. Each rice bowl also came with a raw egg on the side. Without hesitation, I cracked the raw egg onto the rice bowl and mixed it all together. The rice bowl turned out to be delicious, and the pork complemented the flavors perfectly. The inclusion of the raw egg added a creamy texture and richness to the dish. What impressed me the most was the affordability and late-night availability of the restaurant.

Great value meals. The karage chicken was tasty and had enough spice. Probably need your Google translator to fully understand what you are ordering as the English version of the menu on the self service ordering machine was confusing.

Yummy comforting food. Ginger pork rice was fantastic. Even the chicken karage was light and tasty. While it may cost more than a Sukiya/Yoshinoya/Matsuya, this place delivers on portion and taste.
