Owner is friendly and chicken briyani is good. The mango lassi and chai tea is excellent as well.

Dawat Indian curry restaurant is one of the best biryani and curry rice restaurant in Sapporo. Food items are really fresh and good in taste as well. I usually go at least once every week to eat chicken biryani. I would highly recommend to take mango lassi and give a try to tea as well.

I visited with a friend on a sunday afternoon for lunch. The place is not that hard to find as it is right next to the street. The space is small and compact. The owner spoke english and so it was easy to communicate. Some of the items in the menu were not available. We tried the mutton biriyani and chicken don. You can choose the level of spicyness as required. Payment is only in cash.
