Internationally inspired curries & burgers are served in this unpretentious venture.

We mainly serve two kinds of curry (chicken curry, spicy; beef curry, extra spicy), hamburger steak, spaghetti, and more. We also have hamburger steak curry, katsu curry, spaghetti with hamburger steak, spaghetti with cutlet, and others.

This restaurant’s menu is traditional Japanese style western food. So you can see many Japanese people rush into lunchtime. The hamburger, spaghetti is very delicious, we love them.

I learned about this restaurant through Hanatare Nax and had wanted to go if I ever had the chance. Then, when going to see Mr. Oizumi's Recital 2, I found it was within walking distance of the parking lot I had arranged, so my long-held wish came true unexpectedly. About 30 minutes before opening, nearly 10 people were already lined up. Since I was alone, I was shown to a counter seat, and what I ate this time was the Italian hamburger steak and a small rice. I saw with my own eyes what a hamburger steak overflowing with juices means. It was very delicious. I definitely want to come again.

A famous restaurant in Sapporo I visited Curry-ken I found it while looking for lunch in this area It was past 1 PM during Golden Week but the parking lot in front of the shop seemed to have spaces It seems there is also parking elsewhere besides in front of the shop When I entered, there were two groups of customers already inside I knew from reviews that ordering is done at a ticket machine so I went to buy my ticket from the machine, and a staff member cautioned me They said the order in which you buy tickets matters I went back outside and lined up behind the people waiting outside There was a notice saying only a few people may wait inside the shop so if there are people waiting inside it seems the right thing is to wait outside I'm very sorry about that It was a windy day and not as warm as the temperature suggested but after waiting in front of the shop for a while, I was able to be seated There are counter seats and table seats The menu, as the shop name suggests, has curry as well as various plates with hamburger steak and spaghetti Rice is ordered separately I had the hamburger steak with rice Photography is prohibited inside the shop The walls inside are covered with many autographed shikishi boards and I later learned that it is a shop often visited by members of TEAM NACKS, which includes Mr. Yo Oizumi It seems there are also TEAM NACKS scrapbooks and such toward the restrooms Jazz plays inside the shop as you wait quietly Before long the food was brought out The plate had hamburger steak, pasta, and salad There are no chopsticks among the cutlery so I ate with a knife and fork for the first time in a while The salad has French dressing The pasta tastes like Napolitan The only notable ingredient is bacon, and the noodles are quite thick It seems there is an Italian menu item available on its own The hamburger steak is fluffy and when cut, the meat is smooth and doesn't feel very meaty but the juices overflow The sauce tasted like ketchup plus sauce Probably because of the juices, the pasta also felt rather oily but it was well harmonized and I thought it was very delicious Thank you for the meal, I'm grateful When I left they called out to me, "Please be careful on your way home" (not just to me, but to every customer) Perhaps because it was Golden Week, I came across the scene after an accident several times Words have power, so I carefully make my way home, taking those kind words as my strength

I finally went to Curry-ken, which I'd long wanted to visit. I went around 7 PM, and even at that time there were people waiting outside the shop. There was a notice saying that because the shop is run by a small staff, it takes time. After waiting about 15 minutes, I was shown to a seat. From there, it took about 30 minutes until the hamburger steak curry (extra spicy) and Italian hamburger steak I ordered finally arrived. The taste was worth the wait. The hamburger steak is especially delicious. The curry was said to be extra spicy, but it didn't seem that spicy to me. I finished it in no time ♪ Next time I want to try other menu items 😋

A famous restaurant and very crowded. I happened to get in smoothly ✌️ The hamburger steak is famous, but I had the curry. It's labeled spicy, but it's about a typical medium spicy. The large number of autographed shikishi boards shows how popular the shop is. It might be worth trying once 🤔
