A popular spot in Minami-Hiragishi; you can tell right from the name that it comes from Jumbo Yakitori Tsukasa It's 70–80% full even on weekdays, so it's best to reserve or call ahead The wide range of sashimi, grilled fish, and other side dishes is very Jumbo Yakitori The atmosphere inside is lively and bustling, but not noisy Note that when it's crowded, the food comes out slowly Of course the yakitori and other skewers are tasty, but the fried dishes are tasty too It's more of an izakaya than a yakitori shop For the finishing dish, I recommend the yakisoba If you're going to an izakaya in Minami-Hiragishi, I strongly suggest this place

I've been here so many times I've lost count. Udo tempura, horse mackerel namero, salt-grilled cherry salmon collar What I always get is the pork skewer with tare sauce. If you become a regular enough that the manager remembers you, something good might happen. In Minami-Hiragishi, this is the only choice.

A place with tasty yakitori that's a size bigger than regular yakitori. The hatsu (heart) is tender and delicious, a must-eat! 4 yakitori skewers and a highball came to just under 1500 yen. The otoshi (cover appetizer) was 390 yen. In terms of yakitori size, Tsukasa in Kiyota wins by a landslide.

A popular izakaya in Minami-Hiragishi; sometimes you can't get in without a reservation. They have sashimi, jumbo yakitori, goya salad and champuru, and napolitan too. There's a wide variety of drinks as well.

I used to come here regularly when my workplace was nearby, and even now that I've moved, it's a place I absolutely can't skip. Above all, the food is delicious. Now that I know Chinen, I can't be satisfied at other places, and how often I eat out has dropped sharply, regardless of the COVID pandemic. The seasonal ingredients, the friendly master and mama, and the staff in charge of the skewers are all the best. Chinen is the reason I almost want to move back to Minami-Hiragishi.
