Great izakaya , been here twice. Food is great ! Fresh seafood, great grilled meats, reasonably priced considering it's on the 8f floor with a great view or can chose a cozy tatami room. This used to be 5* for food but I docked a star as the grilled salmon belly was unbelievably salty on my last visit. Service is quick and effective, I will return again.

I recently visited 炭焼・寿し処 炙屋 大通ビッセ店 with a group of friends based on the positive reviews, but I'm afraid I cannot recommend this restaurant. We arrived around 7pm and placed our full order with the help of a native Japanese-speaking companion. The waitstaff, 高🏠敷, took down our complete order. However, after nearly an hour of waiting, we only received our drinks and sashimi. It became clear that 高🏠敷 had failed to submit the full order. When 高🏠敷 realized her mistake, she provided a barely sincere apology and made zero effort to make amends or ensure we had a better experience. At no point did the staff wave our drinks, offer any complimentary items, or demonstrate they were willing to take responsibility. This was an extremely disappointing experience, as we were excited to try the highly rated dishes. Instead, we were left feeling frustrated and with an unfinished meal. A refund or complimentary meal would have been an appropriate gesture, but the staff did not offer anything to regain our trust. Based on our service experience, I cannot recommend 炭焼・寿し処 炙屋 大通ビッセ店. I hope the management takes steps to improve the training and accountability of their waitstaff.

There are many nice restaurants in Sapporo, and this one is our favorites. For lunch there is a wide variety of reasonably-priced delicious choices (the buta don is a favorite). Dinner offers additional options and a more high-end experience. And the excellent view of Odori park makes the experience of coming here feel special every time.

The restaurant offers excellent service and a beautiful view. The employee, whose name I believe is Narako, was very attentive and respectful. He noticed we were Muslims (from the hijab) and kindly informed us that some dishes contained pork. He helped us select suitable options, the service was quick, food was tasteful and the overall experience was great. I highly recommend this place 100%.

The food was good, but a little expensive. The assorted sashimi set costed Y1900.
