Whenever I am craving Japanese curry, this is the restaurant I choose. Partly because it's close to my apartment, but mostly because of the simple yet complex flavors the curry here provides. There is a machine for a simple ordering process, and every time I go, the food I order comes out very quickly. The price seems very reasonable considering the amount of food you can get and how filling the regular size is. With this restaurant being very close to Higashi Sapporo Station, for those who are craving curry, this is a must try. I love Japanese curry, and this place does not disappoint. The L katsu curry at regular size was 960円 which I believe is worth every penny. With the food being tasty, filling, and quick. It's an easy 5 stars from me! Also, the service was great, but it's Japan. The staff here are warm, welcoming, and try their best to help to provide you with the best experience possible. I'm not sure how English friendly they are, but in my experience, if you need help, Google translate, and a bit of patience will result in good experiences all around.

View on GoogleI went because I wanted to try the limited-time item "Gokuuma Bukkake Nira-tama" that I found on social media. Inside there are counter and table seats; you buy a meal ticket first and then sit down. This time I ordered the Gokuuma Bukkake Nira-tama with regular noodles and rice. The noodles take time to boil, but it arrived in about 5 minutes. Just like in the photo, the bowl is piled full of garlic chives, and when the wagyu broth is poured over, a wonderful aroma rises up. The umami of the chives and wagyu broth spreads through the extra-thick noodles; extremely delicious. After finishing the noodles, you add rice to the leftover soup. It doesn't look great, but it was super delicious. Garlic and mayonnaise are self-serve—you take them out of the fridge.
View on GoogleHad the "aburasoba." Reliably delicious. Personally, I like that the noodle firmness is just right. Maybe because it used to be a curry shop, there are a few reviews unrelated to this shop. It's a ramen shop, so don't get confused.
View on GoogleChive lovers, scream! The guilty pleasure of the "Gokuuma Bukkake Nira-tama," which stimulates all five senses, is tremendous. To "Sakurai Seimenjo," a renowned aburasoba shop in Higashi-Sapporo, Shiroishi Ward. This time I was after the limited-quantity **"Gokuuma Bukkake Nira-tama"**. The moment the bowl arrives, bright green chives fill it, with chive paste and an egg yolk enthroned in the center. Visually, it's already a "bomb." The staff pour hot "wagyu broth" over it right in front of you, and the aroma rising with that sizzling sound is just incredible. This performance alone could get you through a bowl of white rice. Mix it well and slurp, and the quality of the homemade noodles really stands out. The chewy thick noodles intertwine with the broth packed with wagyu umami, the punch of the chives, and the mellowness of the yolk, for an extremely addictive flavor. Telling myself, "Who cares that it's a weekday!", I savored the chive flavor filling my mouth. If you call yourself a chive-loving comedian, this is a bowl you absolutely can't miss.
