It's not very conspicuous and I'd passed by many times, but this was my first visit. The roast pork fried rice is 550 yen. It's cheap and very delicious. The fluffy, separate grains of rice are wonderful. Maybe the flavor is a little light. I also ordered a large garlic fried rice. It's quite a lot. I think the garlic flavor could be stronger. This is a matter of preference, so it'd be nice if you could request it. It comes with tonjiru, which is quite hearty and delicious, and apparently you can get up to 2 refills. The staff are very pleasant too.
View on GoogleA friend spotted this shop while out on a walk, so we came for dinner. I ordered the garlic fried rice labeled as super popular and gyoza (3 pieces), and shared the shrimp mayo with my friend. The ideal fluffy, separate grains and garlic flavor—delicious! I also like that the red pickled ginger is finely chopped (it mixes well with the rice). The gyoza are the crispy kind with a 'wing,' and the amount is just right as a side dish. The shrimp mayo also had a fried coating that stayed nicely crispy—this was nicely delicious too. My friend seemed to like it too, saying "Let's come again.
View on GoogleVisited this highly rated fried rice specialty shop. It's the kind of place I'd want to frequent if it were nearby, as somewhere you can eat cheap and delicious food every day. Sure, there are Chinese restaurants that serve more delicious fried rice, but they cost several times more, so you can't go casually at all... With the extra-large fried rice I inevitably get bored halfway through, so next time I'll keep it to a large and try ordering gyoza and shrimp mayo. The inside is kept clean, and the staff serve customers politely—I think it's a good shop.
View on GoogleIt's always crowded at lunch. If you go, the evening session is better. Parking is only in front of the shop. Fried rice, tonjiru, and gyoza always fill me up. It's a good fried rice with well-balanced ingredients and flavor.
View on GoogleShrimp mayo 350 yen, garlic fried rice 800 yen, beer 600 yen (Black Label). The garlic is strong and it's really delicious. The shop is small, so sharing a table is pretty much inevitable though. Also the shrimp mayo is superb
