I had one of the best meals of my life here! We had appetizers including their homemade bread and potato soup, lamb spring rolls, and crab croquette. For main dishes we had the braised beef in red wine and the roasted duck with kumqat sauce. And a small bottle of sake. Every bite was amazing. What a discovery. The location is a little hidden, but worth the search. The atmosphere is very intimate and cozy, with just a few tables and the chef right behind the counter.

Amazing food and good drinks. Owners do not speak much English and there is no English menu, but Google translate did the job. Great experience, highly recommended. We had two beef dishes, the pork ribs and the wasabi mushroom pasta. Oh, and they have good wines for a decent price too! Amazing value for money! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Not good for foreigners , they prefer to be the emptiest venue on the street. Tourists and foreigners not welcomed.

A calm bistro quietly tucked away in Tanukikoji. Recommended by a friend in Hokkaido, and I visit every time I go to Hokkaido. This time I was traveling alone on a weekday, so I went without a reservation hoping it would be empty, and got in smoothly. There was a "solo diner menu" that didn't exist when I came as a pair, which shows the consideration and kindness unique to an independent shop. From there I ordered [Sauteed venison with haskap sauce] [Assorted appetizers]. Before ordering, I asked whether I could have a single serving of the lamb spring rolls I'd enjoyed previously, and they kindly included it in the appetizer plate as a special favor. Also, when I mentioned I'm not good with oysters, they changed it to a mussel gratin, going above and beyond. The liver had no gamey smell, and its creamy, fluffy texture went perfectly with the crispy baguette! The sweetness of the mussel gratin was superb. The cod croquette was fried crisp and I was already very satisfied. The main sauté was full of Hokkaido character, with the moist-cooked venison matching perfectly with the sweet-tart haskap sauce! Even the gnocchi garnish was delicious, every part of the plate was great. I spent a slow, relaxing time and was very satisfied. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Today is my last day in Hokkaido! I wanted to eat venison, so I stopped by this restaurant. I think it's the best bistro I've been to since coming to Japan. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good, and the food is very delicious. Next time I go to Hokkaido, I definitely want to come here again.
