This small bistro is the real deal. My wife and I ate dinner there last night and were so happy we did. Across from The Factory in Sapporo, these two wonderful people serve French we can all love. The courses are plentiful, and reasonably priced. And delicious. Even when asking for something extra, we were accommodated. The dishes are beautifully presented and everything tasted like we were dining in France. Please enjoy the food and atmosphere of this fantastic place; we did. Thank you to the Chef and staff.

Bistro Déjà" is a tiny place with about 4 tables, quietly tucked away right in front of Sapporo Factory. I had been curious about it for a long time but the timing never worked out, and this time I finally made my long-awaited first visit. Conversation with a friend I hadn't seen in a long time was so lively that I missed about half of the careful explanations of the dishes, which was a blunder. It would have been even better to have a menu in hand, but the plates that were served were so eloquent that words were unnecessary. The "Kita Akari potato and tomato potage" that lets you feel the bounty of the earth, the "pan-fried Pacific cod" with its perfect balance of plump flesh and fragrant skin, and the "grilled Mochikuru pork shoulder loin" that overflows with powerful juices the more you chew. All of them were exquisite, and the chef's uncompromising choice of ingredients and sure skill came through vividly on the tongue. We comfortably had refills of wine, were thoroughly intoxicated with enjoyment, and when we paid, it was a surprisingly cheap several thousand yen over 10,000 yen for two. It closes at 21:00 so the night ends a bit early, but the satisfaction more than makes up for it. It was a famous restaurant fit for grown-up conversation. Delicious food is the best essence for making conversation with someone dear even livelier. Please use this as a record of a wonderful time with your friend.

After entering the shop and sitting down, water was brought to the other tables but not mine, so I asked for water, but was flatly told that they don't serve water unless you order. And the attitude when taking my order was curt throughout. I was in a bad mood even before eating. Lunch seemed to be course-only, appetizer or soup ➕ main (1840 yen including tax). The food was delicious, so when paying I told them "it was delicious", but I was totally ignored. The middle-aged woman serving was unpleasant throughout. So I won't be coming again.

A French restaurant that's fully booked even for weekday lunch. On Thursdays only, you can enjoy a pasta lunch with outstanding value for money. The type of pasta is left up to the chef. This time it was pasta with pork, tomato, and shiso. The accents of shiso and chili were nicely effective, an elegant lunch. It has a calm atmosphere and a homey restaurant feel. Please do go and try it.
