A bar we passed by on the street with a great atmosphere. Even though we're foreigners, the owner welcomed us very warmly. The drinks were good too, especially the beer. Having a drink here in the evening 🥃 was very relaxing.
View on GoogleKita 19 Nishi 4-chōme, on the ground floor of an apartment building. It's a coffee shop, but the shelves are packed with liquor and the chairs are red velvet. Almost snack-bar style 🍸. Not bad, though. And the Master here—you'll be surprised when you hear his age. He's been running the place for 57 years. And he has lots of even more surprising stories. A long-loved shop thanks to the Master's personality. If you're heading toward Hokkaido University, please drop by.
View on GoogleI had the daily lunch special 🍚 12 to 14 is non-smoking time, but there's an ashtray outside where you can smoke 🚬 I ate at a leisurely pace in a nostalgic atmosphere and had a nice time I'd like to come again 🍚
View on GoogleI found it while passing by and went in. A calm place with a counter and tables. The sofas let you relax comfortably. It seems they serve(?) alcohol at night too. The food menu is standard coffee-shop fare, at night mainly snacks to go with drinks, and there was even something called ramen salad. It seems you can bring your own food too. There's TV and magazines, so I could take it easy. The owner gave us some sweets on the house. Thank you 😊
View on GoogleThe Showa-era atmosphere inside was wonderful, with drama reruns playing on the TV. I was also really moved by the Master's hospitality. There can't be many Masters who serve customers this attentively. The coffee was on the clean side and easy to drink. However, maybe it depends on the time of day, but the background music was all the latest Western pop and HIPHOP, which was really noisy, and it felt like a waste that it ruined the shop's lovely, wistful atmosphere.
