If you want to eat "real Asahikawa ramen" in the Kotoni area, this is definitely the place. Step through the noren and the fragrant aroma of soy sauce whets your appetite: this is the renowned shop long loved by locals, 「旭川ラーメン ななし」. What I had: Chashu men (shoyu) This time I had a bowl topped with impressive chashu that covered the whole bowl. Soup: First, a sip of the soup. A double soup of pork bone and seafood harmonizes in exquisite balance, the kind that makes you say: this is Asahikawa! The deep richness and sharp soy-sauce tare, evoking the tradition handed down directly from 加藤ラーメン, spread throughout your mouth. The layer of fat keeps it piping hot, so another nice point is that it stays hot right to the end. Noodles: Thin, low-hydration noodles, practically synonymous with Asahikawa ramen. They soak up the soup well, and their snappy bite is satisfying. The pairing of these noodles and soup is truly perfect. Chashu: The large chashu covering the bowl isn't too soft, finished so you can really taste the umami of the meat. When you eat it after letting it soak up plenty of soup, the sweetness of the fat melts in your mouth for a moment of pure bliss. Overall An honest, orthodox bowl with no gimmicks: "this is Asahikawa ramen". It's a flavor you won't tire of, the kind you'd want to eat every day, setting it apart from today's trendy ramen. If you want to find "can't-go-wrong Asahikawa ramen" in Kotoni, be sure to pay a visit. It was a heartwarming bowl packed with the owner's dedication. Thank you for the meal!

【You can eat Asahikawa ramen in Shin-Kotoni! A shop with delicious, light chashu】 I visited on a Sunday around noon. It probably depends on the time, but surprisingly there was no wait Cash-only meal ticket system There were lots of celebrity autograph boards on display, but photos were prohibited. Shoyu ramen 930円 The chashu was tender and melt-in-your-mouth It looks rich, but it's very light and carefully made. Because it's light, I felt it was a little lacking, but maybe that's just how shoyu ramen is. Next time I'd like to try a different ramen. It's right in front of the station, so access is excellent.
