We first stumbled across Alchemist Coffee by chance in December 2019 right when they opened, and made a point of returning on our next trip to Sapporo in January 2026. We were thrilled to find them absolutely thriving — they've upgraded their roaster and are now stocking multiple locations across the city! The coffee was excellent, and after a lovely chat about our return visit the owner gave us a couple of freebies and was very kinds and grateful. That kind of warmth really makes a place special. If you're in Sapporo, don't miss it!
View on GoogleGreat coffee! They roast their own beans and the taste is amazing. The atmosphere around the shop is lovely, and most importantly, the staff are super friendly and welcoming. If I ever have the chance to come back, I’ll definitely visit again!
View on GoogleSuperb service and smiles everwhere. Ever since their upgrade to a new roasting machine, their coffee has vastly improved. There are 2 good roasters in Sapporo and this is one of them.
View on GoogleThis place has a piece of my heart! Andy and Ami were incredible. We were looking everywhere for a coffee roasters and we stumbled upon this place, their attention to detail and deep understanding of the coffee is why they’re so successful. You get to choose three coffees to try (for free?!) and they teach you the best way to make it, timings etc and then you get to purchase your favourite knowing what you’re in for. We love a light roast so walked away with Ethiopia and Rwanda coffee, cannot wait to go back!
View on GoogleI've been a regular for 5 years, and this is my favorite roastery. Miyanomori Alchemist Coffee has 3 great points. ①Free counseling Through counseling, you're guided not only to your own taste but also to what suits the person you're giving a gift to. ②You can taste freshly brewed coffee You can taste freshly brewed coffee made by a barista for free. ③The subscription is a great deal Shipping is free and the second month is up to 35% off. Even after returning to the mainland, shipping stays free, and 2 bags of 200g coffee that match your own feeling arrive at your door. I'm happy about that! This time I visited the shop for the first time in 3 years, and the warm welcome from the owner and all the staff put me at ease. I went with close friends from work, and they were delighted to find coffee they love. I felt as happy as if it were happening to me. I'll go back for counseling again ♬ Thank you.
