Possibly the weirdest and worse restaurant I've been to in my 12 years in Hokkaido. Visited date, Tuesday 29 Sept 2026. I think it's a "share" restaurant meaning the chef and style is changed irregularly but the current menu seems to have been here for a long time and I have not seen a different menu in the past three months, so may be this guy is here to stay? (not sure). Firstly, why advertise for things which you don't have? My friend wanted fried rice which was advertised outside on one of the flags but there's no fried rice. When we entered, the owner didn't greet us with the usual Japanese いらっしゃいませ, but he looked at us in a very strange way. We said two persons and he said ok with dogs? (because two other tables had their pet dogs with them), no problems we said. We first ordered the tantan mein with soup.....OMG....the soup tasted like it has been watered down three to four times. It literally tasted so weak and no flavour. The mein was the rice flat noodle like the Vietnamese pho but it wasn't properly cooked and a weird combination to the tantan soup. And when we were served we weren't provided any chopsticks and we had to ask but it took him a while to bring them. (same thing happened to two other guests which came in after, their meals were served without chopsticks and had to ask and also took a while to come). Then we ordered the siumai which the owner said would take about 20 minutes but came after 30 minutes, and again no chopsticks. We didn't bother asking for chopsticks and just used the first pair he provided. The taste was very average. It was not a nice experience but I might go back and order something else just to see if it was a one off thing.

I live nearby and come here all the time! The Hata couple are lovely people, and all the food is delicious! Thank you as always!

Visited after a friend living in Sapporo recommended it. I made a reservation and brought two small dogs. We were shown to seats on the 2nd floor. We enjoyed a relaxed meal with our dogs. The risotto and pasta we had were delicious. Thanks for the meal.
