味噌ラーメン山岡家 狸小路4丁目店Miso Raamen Yamaoka Ie Tanukikoji 4 Chome Mise
If you're looking for a ramen shop in 札幌市, visit【味噌ラーメン山岡家 狸小路4丁目店】. ラーメン山岡家 founder 山岡正 was struck by the flavor of the first Sapporo miso ramen he ate in Hokkaido, and painstakingly developed the signature「札幌味噌ラーメン」to recreate that taste. Going against the trend of Sapporo miso ramen evolving and changing with the times, this deliberately back-to-basics flavor is simple yet somehow nostalgic. Confident that there are customers who appreciate this taste, we are taking on the challenge under the new name「味噌ラーメン山岡家」. 味噌ラーメン山岡家 狸小路4丁目店 is open from 10:00 until 2:00 the following day…

POV: You followed the local queue in Japan and it actually paid off! 🍜🇯🇵 I saw a long line of mostly locals, so I knew this spot had to be legit. It did not disappoint! The soup base and noodles were top-tier, and the portion size was massive—it came with 5 thick slices of Chashu. I also added Gyoza and a seasoned egg on the side. Everything was delicious, though ironically, the Chashu didn't quite hit the spot for me (I think their pork cubes are the real signature here!). And the entire feast only cost 1,650 yen. In terms of the customisation for the greasiness, I would say go for the “Light” level— even then, the broth is super rich and thick! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a filling, delicious bowl. 🥢
View on GoogleIt was a BLAST ordering sesame miso ramen, with rice, beef and gyosas! The ramen seemed like a western stew as the soup was very dense and I LOVED IT! Gyosas and rice side dish were good as well. A definite visit again if destiny and God permits!
View on GoogleYou must eat a lot while staying in Japan no matter what time it is, so after dinner I stroll around for more food. This ramen shop open til late so it was perfect! Sorry for not trying Yamaokaya’s famous ramen, I simply wanted to eat fried rice and gyoza which both absolutely delicious! Fried rice at ramen shop will never fails you. Incredible wok aroma, flavorful, tasty charred flavor of green onions and minced chashu, rice cooked to perfection. Eating together with pan-fried gyoza, truly a heaven soul food. Oh, I love garlic puree condiment at this shop! Mixed together with chili oil and soy sauce as dipping sauce for gyoza. Sublime. Staff here is energetic and proper friendly, service is efficient. There’s nothing bad to say about this small ramen shop.
View on GoogleThey said Negi Ramen was vegetarian. The soup was so heavy; I am still not sure if it was not meat-based. 🙄 It didn't taste meaty though. Mild spicy was spicy enough for me. Be warned! Service and food was excellent.
View on GoogleYou can choose your noodle to be soft or harder. I haven't tried much ramen in Hokkaido, but so far, this sister restaurant is the best I've found.
