Visiting Sapporo for the first time, I dropped by at this cafe located on the third floor of the Marui Imai Department Store Building for a cuppa coffee and some dessert. I ordered a Guatemala Villaure Dark Roast Ice Coffee and a Banane cake slice - the former was bitterly robust but that is how I like my cuppa Joe, and the latter was a paste like as opposed to a sponge like banana cake that turned out for me, the be a interesting change. The service here was very professional, very knowledgeable and very friendly. The dining ambience here was nice especially if you can snag a table with a window to the street view below and the Sapporo TV Tower nearby.
View on GoogleWe popped in for a quick coffee and to take a break from shopping. Beautiful cafe with a great view of the sapporo TV tower. Ambience was relaxing, quiet and perfect. Both the coffee and matcha latte were great, the staff took the time to explain to us the various coffee beans that they had. Would recommend a visit!

View on GoogleNice view of the Sapporo TV Tower and a good atmosphere. Service was average, but the coffee was decent.
View on GoogleI visited the store as a fellow business owner. There were no instructions on how to line up, so I was overtaken by someone who came later (while the staff helped me). I think it would be better to have a sign asking people to line up. I ordered a light roast Costa Rica latte and a dark roast Sumatra espresso. The latte didn't quite express the richness of the light roast. I didn't feel it was worth the 880 yen price. The espresso tasted very good. However, the loveramics saucer was covered in dust, perhaps because it hadn't been used. I won't be coming to Marumi Coffee again, but I hope they'll improve. Thank you for the coffee.
