This restaurant/cafe is fantastic! The flavor of the coffee beans are flowery and fruity with tones of caramel. We ordered two cafe lattes, hot. The taste of the coffee held consistent throughout the entire experience. We listened to Christmas music and chatted for a while. We want to come back and enjoy another latte soon.

The food here is pretty great. Didn’t know what to expect walking in but was pleasantly surprised at 1. the amount of food that you get in a set and 2. how they managed to make boring okayu into an enjoyable meal. It was pretty busy when we went for brunch on a weekend so expect to line up for a table if luck isn’t on your side. One downside is how complicated the menu is to figure out. It’s like they went out of their way to make it as least intuitive as possible for people who aren’t familiar with their style of ordering. The ice cream at the end was a treat to look at more so than it was a treat for the mouth haha. It was all very aesthetic (to the point of being impractical as the honey started leaking on to the table a bit after a while). Definitely a camera pleaser as this place is uber photogenic. But it was just a basic vanilla soft serve scooped in a wooden box. It’s a go for the Gram so don’t expect too much from it - as long as you keep that in mind, it should be an overall great experience.

Visited this place hoping for just a good cup of coffee and found they offered zosui rice soup with Ishikari nabe salmon flavor which is seasonal and it was Devine! Of course coffee was good too. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were kind. Will definitely come back!

【Parking for 12 cars】 Opened in 2017 (Heisei 29). Planning, design, construction, and operation are handled by “35design,” a subsidiary of “三五工務店,” which is known for designs that highlight the appeal of Hokkaido timber. They serve wholesome food and desserts using Hokkaido ingredients and as few chemical seasonings as possible. Their dedication to ingredients is impressive. The rice is Special A-rated Nanatsuboshi from “國田農園” in Urausu, which has been operating since the Meiji era. Vegetables are sourced from “緑屋,” a company with its own farm. The eggs are barn-raised eggs from “酒井農場” in Kuriyama. The wheat is from Ebetsu. The milk and cream are from “タカナシ乳業” in Hamanaka, also used by Häagen-Dazs and Starbucks Coffee. The soft serve is shipped directly from “山川牧場” in Hakodate. Their signature menu item is the zosui set. You choose from 3 broths: ①chicken broth, ②grilled dried sardine broth, and ③shrimp miso broth. It comes with 4 obanzai side dishes and a drink. It had a gentle, seemingly healthy flavor and was delicious😊. The portion might not be enough for men. 【❤】
