Great kanidon!😊
View on GoogleI wanted my family to taste the delicious seafood I'd eaten in Hokkaido, so I was looking for souvenirs while thinking about a good way to do it. I happened to walk into this shop. It was really great! They taught me so many things, very carefully! Mid-March. They said if I shipped live scallops and live hairy crab by air and prepared them at home, I could feed my family something incredibly delicious. They even taught me how to shuck scallops and how to boil crab, so I worked up the courage to try it. The result: the seafood arrived alive, and we enjoyed it immensely! Scallop sashimi. I was worried about what to do if it smelled fishy, but there was no fishiness at all, and the whole family was blown away by the texture and sweetness! It was so delicious it surprised us. Boiling a live crab took courage, but they included coarse salt to add to the water and instructions on how to boil it, so nothing was difficult. Freshly boiled crab is so delicious! The warm crab miso was the best too! And finally, the miso soup made with stock from the shells was the best too! Totally satisfied! Lastly, dried hokke that isn't frozen. Nice and fatty, and this was super delicious too! You can't go wrong with this shop! I'll go buy from them again!
View on GoogleBafun sea urchin from the Northern Four Islands 3000 yen, salmon ikura 100g (forgot where it was from) 1500 yen, 2 sashimi-grade scallops thrown in for free, items from other shops could be packed together, and it came to 6260 yen including shipping to Kanto. The female staff member was very kind and explained things from the customer's point of view, like "This sea urchin isn't from Hokkaido but from the Northern Four Islands, so it's only cheap for that reason—it's really delicious, so don't worry. Ikura isn't in season right now, so I think a small amount is fine," so I was able to trust her and leave it to her. Since it was a gift, though, I thought I couldn't relax until it arrived, but the recipient sent me a photo of the items looking really delicious, and I was relieved too. As a tourist I can rarely come back, but I'll definitely visit again when I go to Sapporo. I wanted to do something for the shop to express my gratitude, so I wrote this review. Thank you so much for your kind and courteous service.
View on GoogleI bought a 1.8kg king crab and other things. The ma-hokke and others were also a good deal. Recommended. This isn't just about this shop, but in general crabs that have just molted turn hollow when boiled, so be careful with varieties that are out of season. The crab and the delicacies are pretty delicious, so you can leave it to the staff, and it's fine to buy whatever they say is good. Quite a few famous people use this shop, so I think you can trust both the quality and the service. They also shipped the things I bought at other shops together with what I bought here, so the shipping was combined, which was a huge help.
View on GoogleVery unpleasant customer service. They went on and on one-sidedly with trivia about crab and kazunoko, and when I said I wasn't knowledgeable about it, they lectured me with things like "Do you even study?" and "That's embarrassing for a working adult." Looking down on customers is out of the question in a service business. I completely lost any desire to shop. I'll never use this place again. I think before product knowledge, they should first learn the basics of customer service.
