After a full morning of fun, we had lunch at the food court around the middle of the amusement park. It's nice that there are plenty of dishes emphasizing locally produced ingredients from Rusutsu (Rusutsu Village). I ordered 「たっぷりルスツ産長芋とルスツ高原豚のそば」. Both the grated nagaimo and the thick-cut, kakuni-style Rusutsu highland pork were delicious. Hokkaido is a soba-producing region, so even quick-cooking soba has a fairly high buckwheat content and tastes quite good. My wife had 「オレンジ風味のタレザンギ丼」, and my son had 「醤油ラーメン」. More than good enough for lunch at an amusement park. We were satisfied.

A food court inside the amusement park. You can eat in the semi-indoor area or outside. When you enter, the right side has rice dishes such as curry and fried rice. The left side has noodles such as ramen and soba. I had beef curry. You buy a meal ticket on the right to order. The curry choices are: beef curry 1300円 fried chicken curry 1400円 katsu curry 1700円. They're not spicy, so children can eat them too. The beef was tender. What you need to watch out for: don't leave your seat with food unattended. Crows will fly over when they get a chance, peck at your food, or carry it away. Someone left their food near the outdoor area to get water, and while they were away a crow took their fried shrimp. A staff member who noticed spoke to the customer when they returned, removed the food the crow had pecked at, and brought a new meal. I was impressed by how wonderfully they handled it.

This is the food court in the middle of Rusutsu Resort's amusement park. I've never seen a soft-serve machine with a 🐮 cow figure making the ice cream anywhere else. If you give the 🐮 figure an 🍦 cone to hold, it makes soft serve for you. I'd really like to see a video on the website.
