Gotta give this place 5 stars. The Miso Ramen was delicious. The broth and noodles were just about right. What I love about my Miso Ramen was the meat. It was tender and tasty. The fat also melts in your mouth. I say this place deserves another visit sometime in the future. I'm looking forward to try the other ramen flavors. :) Update: I revisited this place 7/31/22 with my family and they also give this place a 5/5.

This was my first visit to 羅妃焚, which I hadn't visited even in other towns. The parking lot is beside the shop, so I parked there. I'd looked over the menu before coming, and planned to have fried rice, which I love, and although I don't often eat miso ramen at restaurants, 羅妃焚 seems to recommend its miso ramen, so I was thinking of having a half-size miso ramen. But at the entrance was a sign saying something like 'Fried rice is temporarily unavailable.' Hmm, that's disappointing. But since I'd come all this way, I went inside anyway. I think I read in a review that you buy a meal ticket from a machine, but it was actually an order-at-your-seat setup. There are tables for one person and for groups, plus raised seating, and it seemed there were quite a lot of seats. It was just after the 11 opening time, and there was one customer before me. Since there was no fried rice, I chose a regular-size miso ramen. I'd brought something to occupy myself, but the previous customer already had ramen in front of them, so I figured it wouldn't take very long. The ramen arrived while I was briefly looking at my phone. There were green onions on top. The other toppings were chashu, egg, menma, naruto, nori, and probably napa cabbage. First I tried the soup. The soup was very hot, and I could taste the richness of the miso. It was rich, but didn't feel salty. Next I tried the noodles. I remember 羅妃焚 originating in Iwamizawa, and the noodles did look like the yellow, high-hydration Sapporo ramen type. I'm not especially fond of Sapporo-style ramen noodles, but eating these, it didn't bother me much. I associate miso ramen with bean sprouts, so what seemed to be napa cabbage was unusual, and crunchy. Nori also seems unusual in miso ramen. The chashu was tender and easily came apart with chopsticks. The egg was nicely soft-boiled too. The amount of noodles didn't seem particularly large. Next time I really want to have the fried rice. Thank you for the meal, I was grateful.

I had miso ramen and char-tama don. The miso ramen was light but had a rich miso flavor, and it was delicious! The chashu was also thick, tender, and superb. The char-tama don combines chopped chashu with sauce and egg yolk, and I was surprised by the generous amount of chashu covering about 1/3 of it. You can enjoy all the white rice without leaving any behind. It was delicious. Addition. I had spicy curry noodles + seared cheese. The aroma of the seared cheese was nice. The surface was slightly browned and fragrant, while underneath it melted and clung to the noodles, so cheese lovers might enjoy it. The curry wasn't very spicy and was easy to eat. The aroma and flavor of the melted cheese blend in, so the curry's own flavor becomes indistinct. I enjoyed this meal too.

The parking lot is spacious and can hold quite a few vehicles, but it has both paved and gravel areas, so if you're on a motorcycle, I think it's best to park on the paved section in front of the shop. I entered after 13, and only 2 people were waiting. The interior layout was unusual, but it seemed capable of accommodating both solo diners and groups even when busy. Each seat had alcohol disinfectant and a basket for belongings. Since I was on a motorcycle tour, being able to put down my belongings and jacket was a big plus. The miso ramen arrived about 7 minutes after ordering. It looked like Sapporo ramen. It's a red-miso-based miso ramen. Flavor-wise, I'd come back, but the small portion for the price was disappointing. As my profile says, tastes vary greatly, so if the flavor is average, I don't make it a rating factor. I'm not making this a rating factor, but the one disappointment was the taste of the water. The flavor of freezer-burned ice had transferred to the water, making the water itself taste disappointing. There's nothing in particular to deduct points for, so 5 stars.

The staff had lovely smiles. As we left, the kids firmly declared, 'It was delicious. We'll come again!' (haha) Dad will do his best with the driving♪
