Delicious overnight-dried fish. Every dish is great—recommended by the inn 富士!
View on GoogleThe location on Google Maps seems to be correct now. A rare restaurant in the Oniwaki area that's open in the evening. It's run by the owner and a woman, just the 2 of them. I ordered fried oysters and shio ramen, and both were delicious! (Incidentally, apparently the shio ramen is more recommended than the shoyu ramen, haha.) The portions are large, though, so be careful if you're a light eater! The owner was kind too. I was nervous going in as a woman on my own, but he chatted with me just enough, so I could relax and enjoy my meal. Since only 2 people run the place, food and drinks take a little time to arrive. But they work briskly, so it's not annoyingly slow. I'd like to eat here again when I return to Rishiri Island.
View on GoogleFirst, the restaurant's location on MAP is wrong. It's not the restaurant's fault, but ⭐︎−1. It's a valuable dining option in the Oniwaki area, but if you want to settle in for a drink, I think ordering a set meal and having it as your drinking food is a good, economical option. There are tables, a counter, and tatami seating in the back. The seafood, grilled dishes, and fried foods tasted fresh.
View on GoogleAn izakaya with delicious seafood. Stopped by on my own during a climbing trip. Everything I ate was delicious. The friendly owner made it a lovely memory. Abalone sea urchin sea cucumber They were fantastic. Also perfect for casually stopping by while sightseeing. Recommended.
View on GoogleFirst of all, the location is wrong. From the post office, head toward the sea until the road ends, then turn right onto Route 108. Turn left at the intersection with traffic lights, and it's right there!! The summer-season tsubu whelks were very delicious. The agedashi eggplant was delicious… They don't seem to be a married couple, but their teamwork was excellent. They also treated us to something extra, and I was very satisfied. I'd like to come again.
