A dining spot inside the Yukichichibu facility. It feels just like eating in a mountain hut. Around Niseko, it's not unusual to struggle to find a meal, —You go, but it's closed. You go in, but can't get a seat. You order, but it's sold out. It's expensive, but not tasty. And so on— so it's a big help when you want to eat reliably without wasting time. Here, both the food and the service are exactly what you'd expect of a "mountain hut," so don't sweat the details at this place. Let's just be grateful we can eat at all. The staff don't show much spirit, but they're efficient. They won't give you a smile, but they are beautiful. The vibe might be close to the one you often find at the insurance and pension desk of a town hall. But the rice is delicious. As expected of Rankoshi rice.
View on Google2026.8.7 (Fri), a weekday, and the restaurant was closed. I just enjoyed the day-trip hot spring. There are only 2 indoor baths and 2 outdoor baths, yet the bathing fee is 900 yen plus a 100 yen locker fee, 1,000 yen in total—expensive. However, you can enjoy two types of water: sulfur spring and iron spring. I planned to rest in the lounge and then bathe again, but you can't get to the baths without passing the front desk, so it ended up being a one-time bath. The scenery and water quality felt like Noboribetsu Onsen's Jigokudani.
View on GoogleIn August 2026, I ate here while visiting the day-trip hot spring. It was my first time at this restaurant. Wanting to eat delicious Rankoshi rice, I ordered the curry, and my wife ordered the standard tempura soba. The curry was rich and delicious, perhaps thanks partly to the umami of the Rankoshi rice. The cucumber🥒 and tomato🍅 side was creatively seasoned too and went perfectly with the curry. The zucchini, which I don't usually eat, was also delicious. The youngest, prettiest lady at this facility was doing all the cooking on her own. We were the only ones there at the time, but I felt the food came out a bit slowly. Still, she worked efficiently, which left a good impression. While waiting for the food, we enjoyed the wonders of nature, looking at Oyunuma spread out in front of us, the Chisenupuri mountains, and big dragonflies, so it was nice. Tickets for this restaurant, like the bath tickets, have to be bought from the vending machine in front of the front desk, but you can't buy them until it opens at 12:00, so be aware.
