Didn’t come at the right time. There’s no moo moo in November. In fact, there’s nothing to see.

2026.7.22 Visited on a motorcycle tour. An observatory with really good scenery. But motorcyclists need to be very careful. The road is gravel, with deep bumps and ruts as well. It's rough enough to be challenging even with off-road tires or a four-wheeled vehicle. And the gravel section is quite long. But a spectacular view awaits beyond it. You need to be prepared for a demanding trip.

I went by bicycle, but there were lots of gravel roads and slopes, so it was tough. Along the way, I got to see muscular ban'ei horses out grazing, so I was very satisfied.

For an observatory, all you can see is part of the grassland, but it is still spectacular. I went in late June and nobody was there. The road here is unpaved and narrow, so it's best to drive carefully.
