「A familiar neighborhood shop where you can casually eat your fill」 We serve carefully crafted ramen and freshly fried zangi. ・Our carefully made homemade noodles use selected wheat, primarily 「ゆめちから」 ・Rich, cloudy white soup cooked over high heat in a dedicated pressure cooker ・Although we are a 「noodle shop」, zangi is the real star. Our signature 『ジャンボザンギ』 is ordered by 7 out of 10 customers. The most popular dish is 『熟成あらごし味噌らーめん』. Please enjoy the many flavors that 麺や虎鉄 takes pride in.

I was so shocked by the Memuro branch that, for some reason, I visited this one too. A set with white miso ramen and one piece of karaage (still haven't learned my lesson). The soup is mild, and the amount is small again. The noodles have their usual firm texture. Maybe it's a difference in the amount of boiling water or the heat? (It doesn't seem to be how dirty the water is.) The chashu is probably prepared the same way, but it's much better. (Though, could this have been vacuum-cooked at a low temperature and then frozen straight away or something…? Somehow the ingredient's own flavor feels dead, and it isn't tasty….) And then the karaage, which was limp with oil at the other branch. Here, it's crisp, and when you bite into it, the inside is piping hot and full of meat juices! The meat quality is probably the same, but can the frying method really make this much difference…? I happily burned my mouth and finished it all. But I originally came because I wanted soup, and it wasn't nearly enough, so I ordered the soy sauce one too. Yep, I prefer the white miso. I was quite relieved it wasn't the same as the other branch. I hope both keep working hard. Thanks for the meal!

Self-ordering system, cash only. The two of us had white miso, shrimp miso, and a zangi set meal. Both ramen were rich and strongly seasoned. The zangi was different from what I imagined. None of the flavors were to my liking. They felt heavy but lacked depth.

I went in early October 2025 after a long time away. The button-operated meal-ticket machine had been replaced with a touchscreen. As a result, ordering a set involves pressing quite a few detailed buttons. (Noodles, rice, karaage, toppings….) I'm not sure whether that's good or bad. The karaage here is big (the photo shows the “medium” size).

I ordered a large portion of the limited-time salt and lemon mazesoba. I mixed it thoroughly from the bottom and ate it, but couldn't taste any salt. Just the heat of pepper. There was fresh lemon on top, so I squeezed it and ate it, but without any saltiness, it was inedible. A notice said they would provide sauce if it tasted bland, so I asked, but they said they couldn't provide sauce and I could only add the lemon juice on the table. No, I want saltiness. The way they handled that was awful, and the mazesoba had no flavor, so it was the worst. The zangi was tasty.
