This is a must-do experience! The food was excellent! I had never really tried sushi before, and I was assured that this place right on the sea of Japan is one of the best and freshest! It did not disappoint. The conveyor belt adds a fun element to the experience!
View on GoogleFirst time was 2 years ago and it was great. HAD to go again so we went. Still as delicious as it was BUT lots more people. We went before 11:30 but still has to wait for more than 40 minutes. Overall, the wait was well worth it but wished it were shorter. CASH ONLY so pls be careful! Definitely will go again if in the area.

We got there early just to queue for another 10minutes And the eating experience is stressful As the people who waiting actually sits behind you watch you eating You need to know a certain level of Japanese to order food there Most of the customers are Japanese. Is it good? Yeah, I guess ? The chefs are literally energetic and prepare the sushi fresh in front of you Price is a little costly But guess what It's sushi Yeah Give it a try if you have time to queue
View on GoogleTried sushi for the very first time in Japan at Waraku Kaiten Sushi in Otaru. Sushi was super fresh and tasty. The salmon just melted in my mouth, uni (sea urchin) had a rich creamy flavor, and that wasabi gave a proper surprise kick 😅. The best part was picking plates directly from the conveyor belt — such a fun and unique experience! Very different from our Indian spicy flavors, but a must-try food adventure.
View on GoogleIt’s apparently a very local kaiten sushi establishment with shops only in Otaru and Sapporo. You can get a number to queue (but unable to check progress of queue) good thing the waiting area is quite massive as we ended up waiting around an hour. The sushi is fresh and delicious. But depending on your allergy to waiting, it might not be the place for you.
