If you are looking for something local. Here must be a place. There are a lot of locals sitting with us inside the restaurant. We had really nice sushi here, great experience, fresh made and not very touristy place. There is only 6 people can sit at the counter and 4 at the table. The lady speaks a little bit English. I think they serve up to chef so you might have it different from mine but mine are the 3,200¥ option, in picture is portion per person but various types of fishes and shells. They only accept cash, in case you would go there, please have cash with you.

The most amazing sushi place I've been to in this country. For foreign travellers they offer a 3 tier price menu for assorted sushi. I recommend the highest price sushi moriawase and also the sashimi moriawase. The place is small and cozy and reservation is recommended, although we stood in a queue for 45 minutes and that was more than worth it too.

A humble little sushi restaurant run by a sweet older couple. Their menu is extremely simple: One sushi set at three different price increments (which determine the amount and variety). If you're a foreigner, just point to a price to order. Every piece was spectacular, and every bite was inspiring.

Kind owners with 3 different levels of lunch sushi. I got the best one but it was still only 2400 which definitely was up to its standard. The shellfish and Tuna I had there was the best I had ever tried before. Also homemade omelette left to dry was amazing.

A nice sushi place in Otaru that allows take out. Place is fully reserved when we were there. There were three different priced take out menu without description of what's included. We got the 2700yen one and sushi was good.
