Everyone who has eaten there says in unison that it's very delicious, and they say this is the place for good sushi in Otaru, so I went to try it. However, it was crowded and queuing under the cold sky was tough, so I gave up. I'll try again next time. The prices are also fair, not tourist prices, so I definitely want to go.

A standing sushi bar about a 5-minute walk from Otaru Station. They have several affiliated shops around here, and this is probably the most recently opened. The menu is wide-ranging, from a good-value chinomi set and nigiri courses to individual neta and snacks. The sushi made right in front of you feels close, and you can enjoy the live atmosphere. Reliable quality, neta unique to Hokkaido, the character of the taisho, a relaxed atmosphere, and reasonable prices. A lovely shop that makes me want to come again. I liked it so much that I returned two days after my first visit, so this is a post for two visits. Perhaps it's not well known yet so it's easy to get in, but I can easily picture it getting crowded in the near future.

I heard it opened on 8/23. It's a standing-style shop of Isezushi. The fittings and atmosphere suit the present day, so you can drop in casually. Takeout is also extensive, and you can freely combine sets, à la carte items, and even sukeroku. They also had rare neta such as komai (ice fish) roe. I was surprised at how reasonable the sets are. It's run by two people, a very pleasant itamae and a staff member; I used it for takeout, but they made my order right before my eyes, truly an orthodox sushi shop. You can also enjoy their beautiful technique. Naturally the order was very delicious, and my family was very pleased! The presentation of each takeout item is also beautiful! The sukeroku is also seasoned in a balance that brings out the modest flavor of each ingredient while complementing each other, and the quality is indeed different. They also accept PayPay, which is a help.

This is Otaru I came to the Central Market to buy my favorite squid menchi, but it sold out right in front of me. They said it wouldn't be ready until 2 hours later, so I gave up (;つД`) I strolled around looking for something else to buy. I found this shop, which wasn't there when I visited the market last year, and stopped in. The cozy shop has only a display case and is full with two adults inside. There was no one there. When I called out, a handsome man around his 30s came down from the 2nd floor by a spiral staircase. The only product is "inari sushi" (450 yen) One pack contains three flavors of inari sushi: curry, shibazuke, and anago, each cut in half, one piece of each. I ate them after getting home. Curry I wonder if curry powder was mixed into the sushi rice? The fragrant, popping texture of white sesame and the mildly spicy curry flavor go better together than I imagined and are delicious!! Shibazuke Contains finely chopped shibazuke. A cute pink inari! The shibazuke flavor is weak, but there's an occasional crunchy texture that's fun! Anago If you eat carefully, you can feel it's slightly fattier than the other two, but if you ate it with your eyes closed, you might not know what flavor it is (^_^;) All the inari Wrapped in gently sweet aburaage, and the rice is cooked well, delicious!! I thought 450 yen per pack was a bit pricey, but it was quite satisfying. If they add inari with different flavors, I'd like to buy again! Thank you for the meal, "Koise" ♪
