We like the experience and it was not crowded, meat was well seasoned, no English menu though. Pork was nice, seseri (chicken neck too)

Food here is so so but the service is good

Shichirin yakiniku loved in Otaru I went to 【しちりん】 in Hanazono, Otaru City around 18:00! About a 10-minute walk from Minami-Otaru Station. An old-school yakiniku restaurant bustling with local customers. Since you grill on a shichirin, the charcoal aroma really gets into the meat, and that alone doubles your appetite. The old-fashioned sweet tare goes perfectly too, and you can't stop eating rice. ▷Beef tongue・Sagari・Kalbi All thick-cut and very satisfying. The beef tongue has just the right chew, the sagari has rich meaty umami, and the charcoal brings out the sweetness of the kalbi's fat. It was yakiniku where you can taste the quality of the ingredients precisely because it's simple. A perfect place when you want to enjoy delicious yakiniku without any pretension. The time spent eating around the shichirin without worrying about the smoke was also the best treat.

2026.5.4 I saw in reviews that the beef tongue here is delicious! so I booked in advance and came all the way from eastern Hokkaido. It had been a while since I'd found beef tongue this good, and my daughters and I were thrilled and satisfied. The sagari and kalbi were delicious too 😋 If I go to Otaru again, I'll come eat here

The quality of the meat is sooooo good!! Everything was delicious, the best!!! The staff are lively, orders go through right away and come out fast, recommended! Customers keep coming nonstop and it's bustling. The tongue was so tender, I want to go back soon...
