A restaurant attached to Otaru Museum. It uses a train carriage. The parking lot is municipally run too, so it's reasonably priced. Enjoy inexpensive and very tasty Western-style food. As you can probably tell from the photos, it's stylish with a slightly retro feel. Dining cars in the old days weren't this fashionable, but nowadays dining cars in Japan are… Eating while looking out the carriage windows is a special pleasure. I wanted to try desserts and other things too, but I was full… I'd like to try other dishes next time. Since I was there at lunchtime, I ordered the daily special. Even the wait is pleasant. It's also a suitable place for taking eye-catching photos.

The museum restaurant at Otaru Museum. Given its location, I thought it might be aimed at children, but it turned out to be a proper Italian & Western-style restaurant. Both the meat and fish lunch sets were original and delicious! I want to keep coming and try other dishes! The interior, preserving an old train carriage as it is, looks great in photos too. I hope this restaurant stays around for a long time.
