Yes it may be "dirty" looking but the food is neatly prepared for an izakaya and the owner does not discriminate against patrons. In this small town, it's difficult to find small joints who will accept foreigners. But do know some Japanese as I don't know what I would do without it haha. Overall the tonkatsu ramen is definitely my favourite and the gyoza make for a great appetizer! Inexpensive and tasty!

One of the best ramens I’ve had in Hokkaido and that’s saying something. Hokkaido has the best ramen in Japan so you always expect high quality ingredients and taste. This did not disappoint. I hadn’t been drinking before I went so I can say it’s genuinely great. I can see how it’s a perfect spot after hitting the local bars in the area.
