Visited the store at the end of Feb. I don't think it was worth the price. I've had better tasting rock melons elsewhere and a soft serve is a soft serve. There also isn't many seats available inside. Have anti slip studs for your shoes if you want to get here safely as the little alley way outside the store is very icy and slippery.

Hidden cafe through a rotating door. Must’ve the melon 🍈 with soft serve 🍦. The melon 🍈 is the highlight- sweet, juicy and delicious!

Nestled amidst the cluster of restaurants around Otaru Canal, this small establishment presents an intriguing picture of orange melon ice cream. However, to our disappointment, they only offer green melon at the time. The melon itself is soft and not overly sweet, but the sweetness comes from the ice cream. While it remains a delightful dessert, it falls short of being extraordinary when paired with just green melon and soft serve. Nevertheless, it’s still a pleasant treat to savor in the charming city of Otaru.

I got the 1/4 melon with vanilla ice cream. It was delicious and the melon was so ripe. It was the perfect thing to eat on a hot day. However it was 3250¥ which is about $20 US which is insane by Japanese price standards when a bowl of ramen costs about 1000¥ (~$6) on average.

Missed their Furano farm store so was pleasantly surprised they have a branch in Otaru too. Entrance is tricky to find so just look for their signage after entering the Denuki Koji alleyway on the ground floor. Sweet, juicy melons with equally delicious melon flavoured soft serve. They sell smaller portion quarter melon Santa's Beard here too instead of the typical half melon but the cafe is pricier compared to others in the area. They also provide jagged metal teaspoons to eat the melon which is more convenient than blunt plastic spoons. Just a pity they don't sell the melon by itself since the fruit was so sweet that soft serve isn't really necessary.
