A sweet stop that's worth the hype. The famous Double Fromage cheesecake, Cheese Tart and the Cheese filled Brioche are incredibly light, creamy, and melts effortlessly on the palate. The charming European-inspired building, cozy café, and rooftop views add to the experience. LeTAO is truly one of those beautiful sweet stops that makes a journey feel even more memorable. We tried the Longue Le Chat milk and cheese cake, and it was absolutely delightful soft, creamy, elegant, and very comforting. The balance of milk and cheese was just right, rich but still light enough to enjoy without feeling too heavy. You can really feel that signature Hokkaido dessert quality in every bite. We also loved the milk and cheese ice cream at around ¥500 smooth, milky, and perfect for a lovely dessert break while walking around. Another nice little treat was the Lebon Financier at around ¥300, simple yet delicious, and great if you want something light to pair with your visit. A very helpful note for fellow travelers: if you are planning to bring cake along, LeTAO has the frozen Fromage Double for ¥2,268, which can be enjoyed within around 5–8 hours. But if you want to enjoy it directly at its best condition, the fresh Fromage Double is available at around ¥3,996, and it is absolutely worth considering for the full experience. What I love about LeTAO is that it is not only about dessert, but about creating a warm and beautiful memory. Everything feels thoughtful, refined, and made with care. It is the kind of place that brings a little sweetness to the journey, whether you come with family, with someone special, or simply want to treat yourself to one of Hokkaido’s iconic delights.

It is housed in a beautiful building that is well worth a visit! It gets super busy with a queue early in the morning, but the treats are completely worth the wait. All the cakes, desserts, and milk soft serve were delicious—especially the chocolate cake and the milk ice cream, which had an incredibly rich and intense flavor.

The Le Tao Cafe has multiple levels. The ground floor which has a range of foodstuffs for purchase like chocolates and cakes. There were samples available for many of the items. There were also cheesecakes and the financiers. Most of the packs items here are available for tax-free purchases and are nice for souvenirs. The first floor is the LeTao cafe and it was decorated like a Paris Cafe. Once at the entrance, you can use the tablet to get in line for a table. LeTAO desserts were so yummy. The cheesecake was marvellous. There are chairs available for waiting. You can also get free Wifi here. You can also continue up the stairs, all the way to the top of the tower. The view here is quite nice and Its overlook the entire city. The entry to the store and the tower viewpoint is free. It was a nice surprise and a great way to see the city. A must visit in the town.

The cakes are soft, light, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, making them easy to enjoy without feeling too heavy. The orange juice is fresh and refreshing, while the café latte is smooth and pairs well with the desserts. If possible, sit on the second floor where the atmosphere is airy and comfortable, ideal for relaxing after a long walk. 😍😋❤️❤️❤️
