I think it's recent, but the OTARU letter object(?) really stood out. It wasn't there about 2 weeks ago, but when I visited recently, it was there. It's a historic building. Otaru City has lots of historic buildings, so it's great no matter how many times you visit!

The site of a former bank built in Greek architectural style. It's an impressive building where you can enjoy an exotic, foreign feel.
