Ko Sushi is one of those places you could easily walk right past, but that would be a huge mistake. It’s off the beaten path and absolutely worth seeking out. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome with their genuine kindness and hospitality. Taking your shoes off before dining added to the cozy, traditional atmosphere and made the experience feel even more special. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and after the first bite, I knew this wasn’t going to be an ordinary meal. Every piece was expertly prepared and packed with flavor. It’s the kind of sushi that raises your standards and makes you wonder how you’ll enjoy sushi anywhere else. If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to come here. You won’t be disappointed. We’ll genuinely miss this sushi, and it’s one of the places we’ll be thinking about long after leaving Japan.

Amazing sushi. We shared the hana nigiri 10-piece set and the "幸/happiness" chirashi bowl with sashimi, and everything was excellent. The restaurant serves hot soup and hot green tea with the meal as well. We greatly enjoyed every bite. Very clean, beautiful dining room--we sat in the tatami area and appreciated the traditional atmosphere. My girlfriend had been craving sushi and she left with a big smile!

Very tasty - you can tell they source their toppings super carefully, and don’t serve anything that isn’t up to their standard (they didn’t serve their uni-don when I asked for the price). The uni was astounding, and I also especially enjoyed the hokki and the squid. I think they’re particular about their choice of soy sauce as well.

Incredible family-run sushi restaurant, we stopped here for dinner on a day trip to Otaru before returning to Sapporo. Sushi was delicious and fresh , in a very comfortable setting with attentive service.

We wandered in here on a whim and left very happy! Great sushi and friendly service. The crab miso and uni were especially delicious!
