Walked into this place kinda knowing it was a tourist trap. We order a mixed chirashi bowl, salmon chirashi bowl and engawa sushi. Was really very disappointed. The seafood was not exactly super fresh. I have had way better sushi in Singapore. The prices were also really really high. Atmosphere was nice and fancy with decent service (the only upside), but still would not recommend.

Better prices than most of the places near the canal and fresh tasting variety of seafood and dishes. They have noodle soups, sashimi, sushi, yakitori, crab legs etc. Our seafood ramen was very salty towards the end but the variety and amount of seafood in there was great. A big scallop, two huge prawns, handful of clams, squid, and about half a crab! The water and hot tea is self serve and the restaurant is very casual.

A must-visit sushi experience in Otaru. Fujisushi truly showcases why Otaru is famous for its seafood. The fish is exceptionally fresh, sweet, and clean in flavour😋😋😋you can taste the quality from the very first bite. The uni and seasonal nigiri are absolute highlights, rich and creamy without any hint of bitterness.

Proper, classic Japanese sushi with plenty of quality sushi being offered. Otaru being a sea port, rest assured that the quality of the seafood is legit. Moreover, if you are a lover of uni, do visit Fujisushi as well because their signature is actually their uni! Overall, expect everything classic and proper with no surprises. Fun fact, the seating is actually on tatami, but with short chairs so that's cool :) Arigatogozaimasu!

A very nice dining experience here. We had the seafood sukiyaki which had king crab, abalone, mussels, clams and red snapper. The soup was sweet and filled with the flavours of the seafood. We also had the unagi tempura don and mixed tempura don, both were very tasty as well. Tempura was done very well. Overall good lunch and great service.
