Could not show any photo due to too hungry looking for food. Unexpectedly most of the Otaru restaurants closed early n we bump in to a hidden gem 💎 restaurant. We went inside to the restaurant greet by the owner cum cook cum waiter com bartender 😱. Surprisingly the food was tasty with mix of japanese style of cooking even we ordered malaysian and thai food. Don’t expect the food will be cook with authentic taste ya.

Missed up to take photo due to hunger. The food is nice and the restaurant is handle by the owner himself … he is the cook, waiter, bartender and etc. The price is very reasonable. Recommended

MONIKA, a shop I stumbled upon while strolling around Otaru City I went because I wanted ankake yakisoba, but the other dishes were amazing too😋 Tons of drinks to choose from and the cocktails are fun🍸 I love the vibe too I kinda want to keep it a secret hideaway, but you really should go🩷 I'll be back❣️

A multinational cuisine restaurant in Otaru City For parking, there are parking lots nearby. Go up the stairs from the entrance and you'll find a spacious, relaxed space. There are booth seats of course, and also a hideaway-like counter where you can drink while chatting with the master, so it's fun even on your own. There's a wide variety of drinks and dishes, including proper meals too. And everything is delicious! My favorites are the mapo tofu and shrimp mayo. A lovely place(^^)

Ordered the fried shrimp rice bowl (tendon), 5 fried shrimp for only 1100 yen, the shrimp were fried crispy, the sauce had a light sweet yuzu aroma, the best fried shrimp I've had so far, and the fried noodles my husband ordered were also really good
