Only Hayashi rice was available when I went for dinner. Tastes like concentrated beef soup with Bovril or Marmite added. Mostly mushrooms and onions. Hardly any beef meat. Above average but not excellent.

The atmosphere felt like a mix of Japanese and western influence, and it was very cozy. The service was very friendly and I was able to get by with little Japanese. I tried the Beef Rice for ¥1080, which might seem expensive for Japan, but it came with salad and tea on the side. It was warm and creamy (if a little bland), and the freshness of the salad and floral taste of the tea paired nicely.

A cozy restaurant opened by a very friendly old couple. Went there after being recommended by other people, and it has to be one of my favourite restaurants ever. We had the staple Hayashi rice and the carbonara, which were all fantastic. Everything was perfect, from presentation to the taste. Simply delicious! Would for certain return if I get another chance!

I had a hayashi rice for lunch. I came with a small salad & coffee. The food is so good, it is taste of nostalgia. They are very nice as other people mentioned. I recommend this bistro for someone who wanna have old school japanese food.

Hayashi beef sauce rice and 明太子 pasta both are so good. Very cute little restaurant. Strongly recommended, would definitely come back.
