A long-running shop owned by a man who loves fishing. The only day I've ever seen it closed all year is New Year's Day; it's open almost year-round. The curry is the nostalgic kind made from flour roux, and the ramen is also old-fashioned, no-frills ramen. A shop run by an elderly couple and loved by the locals.

Let's just call this a secret Japanese restaurant for us. 'Secret' here doesn't mean it's hard to find, but because ordering food was hard, since we can't speak Japanese, while the owners can't speak English either. You could say we talked in sign language. But I have to say, the uncle and auntie were super lovely. We finally got to eat the food we wanted. They tried their very best to help us order, and most importantly, it tasted great and wasn't expensive at all.

Feels like a local diner The food isn't especially delicious and the service isn't amazing, but the atmosphere is relaxing and I personally like it quite a lot I walked there from home, and the owner drove me back, which surprised me That countryside kind of closeness might divide opinions, but we were happy about it

It's dark in color (lol), but the ramen was surprisingly good. Feels like a Showa-era diner. The food came out a bit slowly, hence this rating.
