Try the Kitsune Udon. I recommend this shop.

This is a soba restaurant frequently visited by celebrities. Along with soba, of course, there are many different combination menus. It might be rude to call it surprising, but it strikes me as a busy restaurant. The food is consistently delicious. For parking, it's convenient to use the area beside the former Oketo Station (free).

2025.04.17 ・A soba restaurant along Oketo's main road, in the town center where the community hall and A-Coop are also located. ・It seems popular. I visited a little before lunch on a weekday, and while there wasn't a wait, customers kept coming and going. ・This time we ordered the restaurant's recommended sets: I chose the pork rice bowl and tanuki soba set for 1,300円, and my wife chose the curry nan and pork rice bowl set for 1,380円. ・Autograph boards from EXILE: SHOKICHI and curler 本橋麻里, among others, are displayed inside. It seems to be a popular restaurant in Oketo. ・I worried whether I could manage the large set portions, but the rice bowl was slightly smaller, so I managed. ・The soba has a smooth texture, with a little graininess from the buckwheat flour remaining when you chew, giving that enjoyable handmade-soba feel. The broth isn't strong either; it initially feels slightly lacking, but by the end of the meal it provides just the right satisfaction. ・The pork rice bowl uses fairly thin meat, well coated in sauce, with a reliable flavor that seems achievable at home. ・I also tried a little of my wife's curry nan. The broth leans somewhat toward curry, giving a satisfying curry flavor too. ・Tare katsudon seems to be an Oketo specialty, so I had trouble deciding what to order. I'll order tare katsudon next time.

This is a place frequented by local residents. It seems many famous celebrities have visited. The soba has a rich aroma, no dark patches, and a good chewy texture. The downside is that the food tends to take a little while to arrive after ordering.
