The foods in this school cafeteria are very reasonable and delicious. The quantity of food is also very large. I recommend the curry. You will want to eat that again because it is so delicious.

View on GoogleA cafeteria on the 2nd floor of the welfare facilities at Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, offering affordable meals, perhaps to make it accessible for students, and also open to the public Apparently students usually queue all the way to the stairs, but it’s spring break now, so perhaps a quiet period? I heard it was uncrowded and visited for lunch. Operating hours are shortened until 4月4日, with no evening service. Once you decide on your meal, take a tray and line up, then order from the kitchen staff, who quickly plate it and hand it over. There’s a shelf beside you with small side dishes and desserts, so add some if you want. Continue to the register to pay, take cutlery and dressing, and sit in an empty seat. Sitting by the large windows lets you look out at the campus trees. 2025/3 ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー 「豚生姜焼き&白身フライセット」(medium) Comes with shredded cabbage, miso soup, and rice. The ginger pork uses thin meat and doesn’t really taste of ginger, but the seasoning isn’t too strong, which is good. The fried fish has that freshly fried crispness and a mild tartar sauce, which is nice. 「スパイシートマトハンバーグ」(small) Comes with shredded cabbage, miso soup, and rice. The tomato sauce has a strong garlic aroma, and the hamburger steak is compact.
View on GoogleVery popular with the general public. As soon as it opens, people are already waiting to go in and queue to order. The meals are affordable and taste good, there’s plenty of freedom in choosing side dishes, and free iced green tea to drink! The space is large and the air conditioning is cool. It gets somewhat busy at lunchtime. The soft serve at the cafe downstairs is also really tasty and full of milky flavor, worth a visit
