Kantonmen780円 A food-court-style noodle shop on the 2nd floor of an old shopping center. At 14:00 on Sunday, there were quietly 4 or 5 groups eating yakisoba or ramen. Two female staff members were cooking, and watching them, it looked quite professional. At first I thought there were few toppings, but perhaps because the bowl was large, the portion was actually decent. A very standard soy sauce flavor with strong chemical seasoning, but reasonably tasty. The toppings and such were ordinary. The distinctive part was the noodles: they seemed low-hydration, but had a noticeable noodle flavor, very much the type I like. Apparently it's operated by a noodle manufacturer. The staff wore noodle-factory shirts.
View on GoogleIt's helpful that they stay open past the usual lunch hours ending at 14:00! That day I had rice with thick sauce (830円)😊 The sauce was piping hot, with plenty of vegetables, and delicious🤗 Apparently they use Hokkaido-grown Fukkurinko rice. I like Fukkurinko, so I was happy🥰
View on GoogleA restaurant operated by a noodle manufacturer. It's in a food court, but quite delicious. I recommend the Enma yakisoba.
View on GoogleA food court inside a nostalgic-feeling shopping center… An unusually large menu, and reasonable prices.
View on GoogleIt's the quintessential supermarket diner, with a nostalgic feel. I had tempura soba🍤 before, and it was cheap and delicious👍
