This is an amazing place to experience the culture and learn about the history of the Edo-period. Their shows make it worth the visit. It’s a wonderful mix of comedy, action, and history. They offer a translation guide of the plot for each show in many languages and despite not knowing much Japanese, I was able to follow the plot and enjoy it wholeheartedly. If you’re in the area, check it out. You can experience the full park in about 4 or so hours and it’s best to come early. The shopping area wasn’t the best for souvenirs but overall, I enjoyed it as a half day activity.
View on GoogleAn incredible place to take kids and adults alike. The live shows are by far the best part, make sure that you don't miss any of them! Fun for all ages, and the orian one was quite humorous. Would go back again!
View on GoogleExperience was awesome. My whole family including myself really enjoyed this park/ village. We also took Studio photos with costumes. The team of ladies were ultra helpful and patient with us since I only know simple Japanese. I truly want to thank them for this wonderful and memorable experience. The only regret so far was not taking a group photo with them. I would highly recommend this place and please be sure to stop by and take some studio photos for memory keepsake.
View on GoogleVery fun experience for a short day visit! Kids and adults will enjoy this village. I highly recommend going to see the ninja performances and shows. It was impressive how well produced the shows were and the actors hitting the mark in each one. The wonderfully decorated grounds made you feel like you really were transported to an older Japan village. The shopping souvenir districts leaves a lot to be desired, unfortunately, for our tastes. It could just be not my cup of tea however and you might enjoy it more than I did.
