This is mainly an area reserved for male bears. Their larger size is obvious, but they also seem more well-fed and lazy.

The bears through the window are really scary, but they are used to people! Also, the glass is scratched and dirty, so it is not ideal for photos. Well, if you are already here, this is a spot you should stop by too!

There was a スプラッシュタタイム event in summer. On a first-come, first-served basis, visitors spray water from the viewing area using a thick hose. Each group gets 1 minute. If there are several people, they share that 1 minute. They provide assistance, so you can feel at ease. Whether the brown bears enjoy it is something we cannot know without asking the bears.
