At the foot of Niseko Annupuri, the pizzeria "Del Sole," loved for about 20 years. While cherishing the dough-making passed down over the years, we have renovated the interior and are making a new start. The dough is slowly aged and baked one pizza at a time in a wood-fired oven. In a calm, mountain-lodge-like space, you can enjoy dishes centered on pizza along with drinks. We aim to be a shop that is easy to drop into, not only for people who live in Niseko but also for visitors traveling or skiing.

I have mixed feelings about pizza here. Cons: you have to book in advance and pay for the booking 5,000yen per person. If you are slightly late, you loose the money and the table obviously. They have four tables inside and three bar stools, extremely limited seatings. They are slow at making pizzas. They have a large wood fire oven but refuse to fit two pizzas at a time like they do in Italy. The pizza dough is made by using commercial yeast. While it is a well fermented dough, ie not rubbery, chewy texture, I found it slightly under proofed. I didn’t taste any “cold fermentation”. I think they do “same day” pizza dough, no poolish or biga, like they do in Italy. The fresh tomatoes are really sour. Cons: the quality of ingredients, like mozzarella di bufala is high. I think their “extra bufala bianca” and “quattro formaggi” are the best pizzas. The four cheeses has some tangy/sour cheese in it that really gives the pizza its zing. It’s not feta but something else. Overall it is very far from the best pizza but I guess it would still satisfy your pizza cravings

. The mixed salad vegetables are fresh, and the tomatoes grown at home are very sweet. The pizza crust is fresh and chewy, the ingredients are delicious, and the kiln-baked ingredients make for a warm atmosphere.

Authentic Italian pizza in Hokkaido! They have an amazing pizza oven and espresso machine imported from Italy. The dough is fluffy and light, ingredients were generous and fresh. They required us to order a minimum of 1 pizza per adult and 1 appetizer/dessert per child. This was not a problem because the food was so delicious.

It’s good but also not cheap. All the other reviews show that it’s extremely good and even better than true Italian Naples pizza but flavours wise, I’ve definitely had better pizza elsewhere (they have a very good crust). If you’re craving pizza or just want a break from Japanese, this would be a good choice but don’t expect mind blowing pizza. You also must book in advance. The place is tiny and they have just one oven. We ordered 3 pizza between 2. The worst pizza we got was the del sole pizza. DO NOT GET THIS. It’s so bland. I had to dump some Tabasco on every bite just for a bit of flavour. Idk why they would name one of their worst pizza after themselves but ok. It’s also one of the most expensive pizza on the menu too. Think it was 3600, with no meat. The marg is tasty and pretty classic. I actually forgot the name of the best pizza but it was hot honey with meat. It was served last and thank god. Truly saved the dinner experience after being so hyped up. This pizza was delicious and under 3000 so decent price too for meat pizza. Would I come back? Maybe not, unless for the last pizza. Did I enjoy the experience? Yes.
