Amazing Japanese traditional breakfast. How they cook rice elevates its experience and oh my gosh it’s tasty ! A grilled mackerel was the best. They open early enough to do breakfast and go to a ski hill. After/during meal, Honda coffee offers amazing latte and pour over coffee in the same restaurant. A great way to start a day.

Everyone in Niseko not visiting this place is missing out. Food was 11/10, atmosphere was lovely, and service fantastic. Best food experience in Japan so far ❤️

Had the 痛風鍋, or "Gout hot pot". Very flavorful miso broth, fresh and tasty ingredients, including Shirako, oysters, shrimp, meatballs, and veggies. Rice and egg mixed into the remaining broth to finish. Nice quiet atmosphere with only 8 seats total. Good sake selection.

We really enjoyed our shabu shabu at Shellfish and Sake Apekamui. The waitress explained exactly what we needed to do. It was an authentic Japanese meal in a beautiful little restaurant. Highly recommended, arigatou ne!!

Great little cozy restaurant (about 10 seats) that specialises in hot pot/shabu shabu. A la carte dishes were also delicious. Note that you have to preorder the Grilled Shellfish, Grilled Shellfish with abalone, oyster hot pot and rich seafood hot pot course (this can be done online when making a reservation). The pork/lamb shabu-shabu can be ordered on the day. Definitely worth a drive, if you're in Niseko for skiing.
