On the way to 襟裳岬, we stopped in the roadside station parking lot and looked for somewhere to have lunch, then came here just nearby. It's cheap, delicious, and the service is good too. I had fried salmon, and for 850円, drinks are unlimited, with free refills of rice and soup too—excellent service. If it were nearby, I'd want to come every day.
View on GoogleI searched for this place on the way from 登別 to my parents' home in 浦河 and visited. It's an inexpensive restaurant with very generous portions. Rice and miso soup seem to have unlimited refills, and there were several drinks too. If you're curious, definitely give it a visit.
View on GoogleI visited for lunch on a weekday. There weren't many people when I first went in, but more came streaming in afterward. It was an all-you-can-eat bread buffet day for 850円. You could have one of each type of bread, and up to 3 pieces of fried chicken. Everything else was unlimited. The value for money is almost too good. The bread was especially delicious. There are lots of drinks too, and I was satisfied. It's become a place I'd like to visit again.
View on GoogleAn 850円 lunch buffet. The main dishes can only be taken once, with no refills, but there's no limit to how much you serve yourself, so male regulars were piling their plates high. Of course, there are side dishes you can refill too. Fried chicken is limited to 3 pieces per person, but it was delicious. There's curry too, so the value is excellent, but the staff were practically invisible... It didn't feel unpleasant, so I think it's fine if you don't let it bother you.
View on GoogleVarious items were being sold at the counter right by the entrance. The sign outside said “ピーマンの丸ごと焼き,” which caught my interest, so I went in. They also sold inexpensive bento boxes, so I had one with the green pepper for lunch. The green pepper had a pronounced bitterness and was really delicious! It seemed like the seeds were edible too, so I ate the whole thing, including the stem. 100円 each is affordable too. It was an item I couldn't help adding when buying a bento. The daily bento was also inexpensive at 560円, and of course it tasted great! The side dishes were delicious, but what I thought was the best was the white rice. It was cooked with just the right amount of water and made the side dishes go down nicely. On days with nice weather, you can eat at the tables outside. They provide a portable condiment set, so if you can't find one, try asking the staff. It was a place I'd recommend.
